Experience and History- Desirre Andrews

Desirre attended her first birth in 1987 and through the years supported friends and family with labor assistance, childbirth resources and breastfeeding assistance. She chose a professional path in late 2003 and has attended approximately 75 births, taught over 900 students, and been interviewed locally and nationally for birth related stories. Her goal is for families to be equipped and confident for their desired birth journeys. She has experience with unmedicated and medicated births, waterbirth, non-medical and medical inductions, IVF, cesareans and VBAC’s in home, birth center and hospital environments.

She is happily married to her amazing and supportive husband and has four quickly growing sons.

Studying research, continuing education and volunteering in the community are an integral part of her standards of practice.
