  • Class Reunion after all moms have given birth
  • Free classes to refresh in next pregnancies

Classes are designed to build confidence in the ability of mom and baby, trust in the normalcy of birth, increase knowledge with true information, and practice effective natural childbirth techniques in a fun, interactive and personal atmosphere. Several types of relaxation, visualization, labor practice sessions, role-playing and birth movies are utilized. Each participant receives a workbook and additional handouts. Lending library is available for traditional class participants.

For Christian emphasis – additional materials are available upon request.

Birthing Refresher Class

  • This is a private class, however, up to 3 couples may attend to split the fee.
  • Overview of labor and delivery

  • Challenges of labor
  • DVD’s to watch
  • Previous birth experience discussion and reframing exercises (if desired)

  • Participants will receive a workbook and additional handouts.

Postpartum Strategies Workshop – second trimester through early newborn

  • Save yourself from asking this question: “The baby is born, now what?
  • Topics may include:
  • Parenting Philosophies/Preferences
  • Planning for the first months
  • Time management
  • Usual emotional changes
  • Usual physical changes
  • Local support resources
  • Caring for your relationship

VBAC Preparedness

  • Specifically geared for the mom who desires a vaginal birth after cesarean. For most women this is a safe choice and alternative to a planned repeat cesarean.
